Kenny Wong was born in 1987 in Hong Kong. Wong’s works explore the delicate relationship between daily experiences and perceptual stimulations by hybridising analogue and digital representations. Wong is interested in exploring visual patterns, motions, and sound textures, as well as presenting works in the form of computational kinetic sculptures. Wong actively works as a collaborating artist, multimedia designer, mechanical engineer/designer, and art researcher.
Wong’s solo and collaborative works have been exhibited in over 10 countries, including Ars Electronica Festival (Austria), WRO Media Art Biennale (Poland), Athens Video Art Festival (Greece), Phoenix Cinema and Art Centre (UK), NYU Abu Dhabi Art Gallery (UAE), BIAN Montreal (Canada), FILE Festival (Brazil), 404 Festival (Argentina), Seoul International NewMedia Festival (Korea), Pearl Lam Galleries (Hong Kong), Goethe-Institut (Hong Kong) and numerous international exhibitions. Wong has named one of the Golden 15, as part of the 3rd International Emerging Artist Award (UAE). He also received the Award for Young Artist 2014, Media Arts (Hong Kong) and was unanimously selected for the Bloomberg Digital Arts Initiative 2013 (Hong Kong).
Wong is currently an independent artist and designer founded label Things That Move, after he lefe his role as Creative Technologist at IOIO Creative in Hong Kong, He pursued his MFA in Sculpture at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He was a part-time Lecturer at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong in 2015, and received his BA in Creative Media from the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong in 2011.
黃智銓 1987 年出生於香港。他關注跨界模擬信號與數位表現法,以日常經驗及感知刺激之間的微妙關係作 為創作元素。 黃智銓熱衷於探索視覺模式丶運動、聲音質感,以及電腦動力學裝置。黃氏以多媒體設計師、機械工程師 /設計師和藝術研究員的身份與其他媒體藝術家、聲音藝術家及戲劇演員等積極合作。
黃智銓的作品獲邀於全球超過 10 個國家展覽展出,包括:林茨電子藝術節(奧地利)丶 WRO 媒體藝術雙 年展(波蘭) 丶雅典錄像藝術節(希臘)丶 Phoenix 電影及藝術中心(英國)丶纽约大学阿布扎比分校畫 廊(阿聯酋)丶 BIAN 國際媒體藝術雙年展(加拿大)丶 LOOP 巴塞羅那(西班牙)丶 FILE 電子藝術節 (巴西)丶 404 藝術節(阿根廷)丶首爾國際媒體藝術節(韓國)丶藝術門(香港)丶歌德學院(香港)以及眾多國際展覽。 黃氏獲第三屆國際新晉藝術家獎(阿聯酋)Golden 15 提名。他亦獲頒 2014 年香港藝術發展局藝術新秀獎 (媒體藝術組別),以及獲選「Bloomberg 數位藝術培育計劃 2013」(香港)。
黃智銓現是獨立藝術家和設計師並創立個人品牌 Things That Move,曾於十下創作擔任創意工匠(Creative Technologist),以及在加拿大蒙 特利爾 Concordia University 修讀碩士,主修雕塑。他 2015 年於香港城市大學創意媒體學院兼任講師。藝 術家 2011 年獲得香港城市大學創意媒體文學士(榮譽)學位。
